Hello and welcome to my team. I am super excited to have you on board and looking forward to coaching you to the healthiest and strongest version of yourself. This is where we make goals happen! Before we can make those goals a reality, I need to get to know you. The better I get to know you, the greater our chance of success will be. To make things easier and more comfortable for you, I’ll tell you a bit about myself first and how I got to where I am today.
I haven’t always been into fitness and haven’t been the guy you see on the right. It was about 6 years ago, I had very low confidence, low self esteem, I wasn’t happy and I was also 50lbs heavier then I am today. The one thing I did have was belief in myself that I could change things and that it didn’t have to be that way forever. I finally decided I had had enough and I started educating myself on health, fitness and nutrition by reading books, websites, listening to podcasts and just whatever I could get my hands on. Within about six months of applying the things I learned and staying disciplined and consistent, I had lost 40lbs. During that 6 months I learned more about myself then the 25 years before and more importantly I discovered what I,or anyone, can accomplish if they just believe in themselves. After a couple years of continuing with my healthy habits, I decided to take all that I learned and become a certified personal trainer to help others discover that same belief in themselves and reach their true potential and live their life to the fullest.
When it comes to fitness I have a minimalist approach. I do not believe more is better. Setting you up with the most effective dose with the minimalist amount of work required to achieve your goals. When it comes to fitness more is not better, nor is sustainable or enjoyable. Three workouts maybe four that last about 45 minutes is all you need to get the results you want.
When it comes to nutrition my approach is all about balance and following the 80/20 rule. 80% of the time we are aware and intelligent about how we fuel our bodies then 20% of the time we allow ourselves to enjoy the most magnificent gift earth that is food!! Yes you can live a healthy lifestyle, transform your body all while still enjoying your favorite foods.
As your coach I am here to make you realize you are in total control of your life and lifestyle. I will design customized workouts suited to you and your goals, teach you, motivate you, keep you accountable but it is up to you to put in the work required. That I cannot do for you.
As much as I would enjoy being your coach forever, that is not my goal. My goal as your coach is to set you up with a game plan that allows you to acquire the tools and develop the knowledge necessary to maintain and live a healthy lifestyle on your own. We all deserve to feel and perform our best while our bodies still allow for it. And the better you take care of yourself, the longer your body will reward you with the energy and vitality that allows you to live life your life to the fullest.
